Ski Masks
When you're skiing you'll soon realise that a ski mask is an absolutely essential piece of equipment. The cold weather and snow that will end up being flicked up onto your face can be extremely irritating and could end up damaging your skin. Also, there is the fact that you'll most likely experience very strong sunlight at many ski resorts, so the majority of ski masks will have built goggles with UV protection, much like sunglasses.
If your ski mask doesn't have goggles with it, then you can purchase ski goggles separately that will fit under your mask. It's important to remember when you're shopping for goggles that you'll need to buy some with UV protection as strong sunlight can damage your eyes. High end ski goggles with offer you as much protection as a good quality pair of sunglasses.
Sunglasses are also an essential item that you'll want to take with you on your skiing holiday, as you'll need to wear something to protect your eyes from the sunlight whilst you're not skiing. Also bringing some sun screen is also an excellent idea. You may not have thought it, but there are many examples of people coming back from skiing holidays with pretty severe sun burn, so don't forget to bring some protection with you! This will save you from paying well over the odds for sun cream at the ski lodge.
